Young Engineers

All students in Years 3 to 6 participate in the Young Engineers Lego enrichment program as part of our school’s commitment to develop students’ skills in the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

Students work together to build a variety of everyday models that develops their understanding of scientific concepts and why various machines and toys are built the way they are. A typical lesson will involve students learning about a STEM concept, such as centrifugal force, then applying this knowledge to the build of a Amusement Park Carousel.
